On October 18, 2008 Ethan Kenji James was christened at the All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This by the way was the same church Ethan's mom and dad got married at. Ethan's godmother was Angela's friend Melissa and godfather was Ken's brother Brad. Many of Ethan's family attended as well as his cousin Hanna (Brad and Paula Onysko's daughter) seen in the picture below.

Ethan's Baby Christening was a very beautiful & serene setting. Ethan's baptismal gown was provided by his Baba Onysko.This was a very meaningful & special gown as it was worn @ the baptismals of the 3 Onysko boys: 1st by Dad Ken, then by Uncle Randy & then by Uncle Brad. Ethan looked like he knew that this was a very serious & important event & that he had to be at his best behaviour and that he was!- not even a whimper! The reverend had even commented that he'd never seen such a well behaved baby! Hurray Ethan!After the lovely service, we all enjoyed a delicious& hearty supper @ Ken & Angela's. It was wonderful to meet all the out-of town relatives- Brad,Paula& Hanna from Calgary & Randy & Mary from Denver. A great time had by all!
